Believe it or not, today, June 24, is “UFO Day.” If you’re part of a group of friends who love mysterious stories, please come visit Ginten, located right next to Kyoto Station. In our cozy atmosphere, you can enjoy friendly conversation while sipping delicious drinks.
Drinks served in a kettle!
One of our signature drinks is the “Oyaizu Seicha Tea Highball.” Please enjoy this exquisite beverage, sourced from Oyaizu Seicha—a source of pride for Shizuoka, a region renowned for its tea.
We offer a wide variety of flavors, including the “Matcha High,” with its perfect balance of bitterness and umami; the “Hojicha High,” with its toasty flavor; and the “Jasmine High,” with its vibrant aroma. You might be surprised when you see them arrive at your table—we serve them in generously sized teapots. Please enjoy plenty of these delicious drinks and make the most of your visit to our shop.
The Harmony of Tanaka-tan and Tea!
"Tankotan" is a popular shochu known for its shiso flavor. At our shop, we’ve paired this Tankotan with tea. Please enjoy the harmony between the aromatic Tankotan and the tea’s deep, mellow umami.
Why not start with a Tanka-tan mixed with green tea? You’ll enjoy its refreshing flavor. We also offer versions blended with rich black oolong tea and Earl Grey tea with its floral aroma. Each one is a specialty of our shop.
Ginten" enjoys freshly fried tempura and atemaki with a tea break.
We use a revolutionary cooking device called a "water fryer" to serve healthy tempura.
The shochu used to make the tea can be poured from the faucet provided at all tables in any amount and at any time!
The clean, white wood interior can be used for a variety of occasions, from casual drinks to date nights.
We look forward to seeing you all at our store.
